Paul L. Owens graduated from Francis Marion University with a B.S. degree in Business Administration in 1982. He spent 12 years as the manager and buyer for a specialty sporting goods store. Since joining Sadler & Company in 1999, his work experience includes working with manufacturers, distributors, and contractors to perform job safety analysis, loss control engineering, insurance coverage audits, HR compliance audits, and performing Workers’ Compensation audits to assist businesses in reducing Workers’ Compensation claims and premiums.

Paul’s extensive background in sporting good products and in loss control for manufacturers and distributors made him a natural choice to manage Sadler & Company’s Products Liability Department. Having advised over 1000 product manufacturers and distributors over the past seven years, Paul is a nationally recognized author, speaker and expert in the field of product liability insurance. His specialty areas include start up businesses, high risk product manufacturers, and Asian product manufacturers / distributors.
